Acts 22
Acts 21 ends like this:
Acts 21:40 (KJV), “And when he had given him licence, Paul stood on the stairs, and beckoned with the hand unto the people. And when there was made a great silence, he spake unto them in the Hebrew tongue, saying.”
Paul addresses the Jews in Jerusalem and explains his background
Acts 22:3-4 (KJV), “3 I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day. 4 And I persecuted this way unto the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women. ”
2 Timothy 2
Paul continues to warn Timothy of the false teachings that he will encounter
2 Timothy 2:14-18 (KJV), “14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. 17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; 18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.”
You will also find false teaching among the chosen
2 Timothy 2:20-21 (KJV), “20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.”
Job 40 God’s Challenge to Job
Job 40:6(KJV), “Then answered the Lord unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said.” (Job 38:1)
Some say this is proof of dinosaurs
Job 40:15-24 (KJV), “Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox…”
[1] There are later descriptions of creatures in the Bible that could be referring to dinosaurs. One example is the behemoth of Job 40:15-19. Even in fairly modern history there are reports of creatures which seem to fit the description of dinosaurs. (Anthony Conchel)
Brown-Driver-Briggs – i.e. hippopotamus (apparently plural intensive of foregoing; according to Di Job 40:15 compare De Isaiah 30:6 from an (assumed) Egyptain p-ehemau, ox of the water)

Isaiah 61 The Good News of Salvation
Isaiah 61:1-3 (KJV), “1 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; 3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.”
Israel shall be protected
Isaiah 61:9-11 (KJV), “9 And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the Lord hath blessed. 10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. 11 For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations. ”
